Ways we help

Every route into care, covered.

No two families start from the same place. Whichever avenue fits — a short visit each morning, or someone living in full-time — we build the care plan around the person, not the other way round.

Visiting home care

Friendly, practical support in your own home — from a cup of tea and a chat to help with washing, dressing and meals.

Live-in care

A dedicated carer moves in to provide round-the-clock support, so someone can stay independent at home, day and night.

Ask about this

Supported living

Longer-term support for adults with learning disabilities or complex needs, built around choice, skills and independence.

Ask about this

Respite care

Short-term cover so family carers can rest, travel or simply take a breath — without worrying about a gap in care.

Companionship care

Regular visits focused on company, conversation and getting out and about — for people who mainly need someone alongside them.

Getting started

From first call to first visit.

Setting up care can feel like a lot. Here's exactly what happens once you get in touch with us.

01

Get in touch

Call or send an enquiry. We'll ask a few simple questions about the situation and what kind of support is needed.

02

Free care assessment

A care coordinator visits at home to talk through routines, health needs, preferences and what a good day looks like.

03

A personal care plan

We write a care plan built specifically around that person, agreed together with them and their family before anything begins.

04

Meet your carer

We match a regular carer, or a small consistent team, based on personality, interests and needs — not just availability.

05

Ongoing review

We check in regularly and adjust the care plan as things change, so support keeps pace with real life.

About us

Why we called it Care Avenues.

No two routes into care look the same. One family needs an hour each morning; another needs someone in the house full-time. We built Care Avenues to hold all of those routes at once, without forcing anyone down a path that doesn't fit.

We're a family-run, local provider — not a national call centre. The person who does your assessment is the same person you can call with a question six months later.

  • Care plans built around the person, reviewed regularly — not fixed on day one and forgotten.
  • The same familiar carers wherever possible, rather than a rotating roster of strangers.
  • Local to the West Midlands, and easy to reach — no long queues or overseas call centres.

Person-centred

Support is shaped around the individual's routine, preferences and pace — never a generic template.

Consistency

Wherever possible, the same small team of carers, so relationships and trust can actually build.

Local & family-run

Based in the West Midlands, decisions made by people who know the area — not a distant head office.

Trained & checked

Every carer is DBS-checked, trained to Care Certificate standard and regularly supervised.

Families we support

In their words.

Having the same live-in carer for Dad meant we stopped worrying every time the phone rang. She knows his routine better than we do now.

— J.T., daughter of a client

The morning visits are never rushed. It's the same two carers, and they actually remember what Mum likes for breakfast.

— R.O., son of a client

Supported living gave my brother his own front door for the first time, with just enough help nearby. That mattered more than we expected.

— S.K., sibling of a client

Join our team of carers.

We're always looking for kind, reliable people to join Care Avenues, with full training and a supportive team behind you — experience isn't always essential.
